Reduce Costs with Engineered PTFE Adhesive Tapes
Durable high temperature tape with clean release to reduce your operational costs.
Green Belting™ PTFE Teflon tapes help production facilities to protect their products from extreme conditions and surfaces. Minimizing polytetrafluoroethylene tape surface wear will maximize your yields unlike lighter weight tapes and sprays.

From protective barriers on packaging heat seal elements, to insulating of wiring, our 100 series PTFE teflon tapes come in various thicknesses and sizes.
Choose from silicone PTFE adhesive tape for high temperature applications, or acrylic adhesive tape for stronger bonding at lower temperatures.
Fabricated from our PTFE coated woven fiberglass fabric, our 100 series high temperature tapes can:
- endure abrasion
- resist chemical bonding
- offer excellent release properties with a range of dielectric and thermal-insulative qualities.

Enhanced PTFE Coated Teflon Tapes
Maximum Adhesion and Excellent Abrasion Resistance
GR6 is a unique tape designed for lining of wind turbine blades but also offers superior performance for welding of PVC windows. The exceptional release characteristics of GR6 allows faster turnaround between blade cycles. Combined with extra-fine surface topography, this results in finished blade quality that requires 35-45% less post mold blade processing. PVC window manufacturers find this product ideal to ensure a strong, clean weld with minimal residue on welding machines.
DXL tapes are constructed with a special PTFE coating and engineered to withstand abrasion and wear. Our customers like the extended tape life compared to competitive premium products. DXL tapes meet FDA requirements of 21 CFR 177.1550 and as such, are acceptable by the USDA.
APPLICATIONS:
- Wind Turbine Blade Lamination
- Welding PVC Windows
- Heat-sealing plastic film
- IV bag manufacturing
- Carpet cushion manufacturing
- Plastic bag manufacturing
PTFE Zone Tape Applications:
- Heating elements for form, fill and seal
- Vacuum sealing elements

FAQs
PTFE tapes can be used across a wide range of industries. Common applications include:
- Heat sealing surfaces on L-Bar, impulse, and bag sealers
- Non-stick roll coverings and guide/chute linings
- Wind turbine blade lamination (GR6)
- PVC window welding (GR6)
- Heat-sealing plastic film and bag manufacturing
- IV bag and carpet cushion manufacturing
- Vacuum sealing and impulse sealing elements
PTFE Zone Tapes have an adhesive-free PTFE center that covers a heating element, with adhesive only on the edges. This makes them ideal for impulse and vacuum sealing equipment, where clean, non-contact surfaces and rapid heat transfer are essential.
They are commonly used in form-fill-seal machinery and other high-temperature sealing systems.
Enhanced PTFE tapes provide maximum adhesion and exceptional abrasion resistance.
GR6: Designed for wind turbine blade lining and PVC window welding, offering up to 35–45% less post-mold processing due to its excellent release characteristics.
DXL: Built for heavy abrasion and extended tape life; it also meets FDA 21 CFR 177.1550 requirements, making it suitable for food-related processes.
